Effective Immediately: While we are encouraging people to be outside for fresh air and physical recreation, especially families who have children at home who need that outdoor activity, unfortunately; at this time our local Rec Park and all of its public facilities, including the playground, will be closed for use by the public.  While we understand this may limit options for outdoor space use, while practicing social distancing, it is for the safety and well-being of our community.  We understand that during this chaotic time it may seem that one by one privileges, activities, and options are becoming fewer and fewer and your daily life feeling more restricted.

None of the things being asked of you or directed for you to follow are meant to convey punishment.  We are ALL being affected by this and the only way we will recover is if we stay united as a community to adhere to such directives and do what is best for our own health and safety, as well as for those who represent the more compromised demographic.  I thank you all for your cooperation so far and in the days to come.  Please, let's continue to navigate this journey together, as we are all in this together.
