The Village of Malone has one vacancy on the Zoning Board of Appeals.  We are looking for Village residents who are interested in volunteering their time and becoming a member of this Board. The term is for five years.

Development Opportunity in the Heart of Malone

Village and County Agreement Paves Way for Prime Real Estate Redevelopment

MALONE, NY - The Village of Malone is excited to officially announce an upcoming opportunity for developers and investors looking to join in the continuation of our community's bright future and forward progress. In a necessary step toward urban renewal, the Village of Malone and Franklin County have reached an agreement for the remediation of two prime properties in downtown Malone: the Flanagan and Lashomb sites.

FALL LEAF & LAWN DEBRIS PICK-UP        

 

Fall clean-up will start on October 11, 2024

The LAST day to put leaf and lawn debris to the curb is November 3, 2024.

 

As in years past, only leaf and lawn debris will be picked up.

 

If using bags:

 

Only Biodegradable Paper Bags will be accepted and should only contain leaves and natural lawn debris and not household trash, or animal feces, sand, dirt, or stones.  Any bags found to contain any of the above-mentioned items will be left for the homeowner to dispose of properly.

 

Piles should be no longer than 6 feet in length and no more than 4 inches in diameter.

 

Any lumber, landscape timbers or large tree stumps or block wood will not be picked up and any concrete or stones will not be picked up and will be left for the homeowner to dispose of properly.
